Description

Pressure ulcers are areas of skin that are injured from staying in one position for too long. They commonly form where bones are closest to the skin, such as the ankles, heels, and hips. Pressure ulcers can cause serious infections, so they should be treated so that they do not pose a risk to a person's health.

Mepentol spray is a treatment specifically designed to prevent and treat stage I and II pressure ulcers;

  • Hyperoxygenated fatty acids: they promote the creation of new epidermal cells for a more resistant skin and facilitate healing; they balance the hydrolipidic film avoiding skin dehydration;they create an anti-microbial barrier that protects the ulcerated area from external agents and promotes blood microcirculation; they prevent the damage caused by an increase in free radicals, thanks to their antioxidant power.
  • Horsetail, which enhances the elasticity and firmness of the skin.
  • St. John's wort, which prevents and normalizes erythema and has a lenitive and dermoprotective activity.

Instructions for use

After the usual cleansing treatments, apply Mepentol 2 or 3 times a day on the areas at risk or affected by the ulcer, spreading the product with your fingertips. The use of gloves is recommended for this operation.
