Description

Mepitel Film Protec is a medical device compliant with the CEE directive 93/42. It is made of a transparent and breathable film, with a soft silicone contact layer featuring selective microadhesion.

This dressing is indicated for the treatment of various superficial wounds. It can be used:

  • As a secondary dressing.
  • In combination with gels and creams.
  • Under dressings and fixation devices.

Mepitel Film offers:

  • Flexible and transparent protection for the wound and intact skin.
  • Acting as a barrier against fluids and external contaminants.
  • Creating an ideal moist environment for wound healing, allowing excess moisture to evaporate.

The Safetac technology allows the dressing to conform to the treated area without the need for additional pressure to secure it. It leaves no residues and maintains a consistent adhesion force over time. This product is latex-free and has passed biocompatibility tests.

The packaging includes:

  • Siliconized paper support structure.
  • Transparent and breathable film.
  • Soft silicone contact layer with Safetac technology.
  • Protective polyethylene film.
