Gently removes cradle cap from baby's scalp

Description

Cradle cap is the colloquial term for seborrheic dermatitis in infants. In other words, it is also known as "dandruff" in older children or adults. Mitosyl cradle cap is a soothing gel that gently removes cradle cap, deeply hydrating thanks to the natural extract of AP (monohydrated betaine and sodium hyaluronate). Among its many benefits are also exfoliation due to the regenerating action of Lacto-bionic Acid, soothing properties thanks to d-Panthenol and Allantoin. It regulates and stimulates the skin's bacterial flora through the action of biolin. *It contains no parabens, alcohol or fragrances. The best way to care for your baby!

Instructions for use

Before bathing, apply a small amount to the scalp and massage gently. Leave on for 30 minutes and rinse with water.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.

Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.

To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.
