Mitosyl® protective ointment is a protective ointment especially indicated for the daily care of your baby's delicate areas. With this baby ointment, you'll take care of your baby's skin while protecting it from rubbing and reducing redness and skin irritation.

The composition with zinc oxide and cod liver oil provides absorbent properties that will favour skincare and hydration.

Instructions for use

How to use Mitosyl® protective ointment

Clean and dry the irritated area and apply with a gentle massage 1 to 3 times daily. Especially indicated after changing the diaper on the baby's bottom.

Composition

COD LIVER OIL 0.5%, ZINC OXIDE 27% (CONTAINS NO NANOPARTICLES). PETROLATUM, ZINC OXIDE, LANOLIN, AQUA, PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM, GADUS MORRHUA LIVER OIL, AROMA (GERANIOL), METHYL SALICYLATE, BHA.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Zinc has great benefits for the immune system, hair and skin. It is a trace mineral, meaning that the body needs it but in small amounts.

It is an important supplement for DNA synthesis, cell growth, protein synthesis, healing of damaged tissues and supports a healthy immune system.

It also promotes keratin and collagen synthesis, so it helps to prevent premature hair aging and even protects hair pigmentation. It also helps to strengthen hair and nails.
Include it in your diet by eating meat, fish, seafood (especially oysters), nuts, whole grains, pulses and/or milk.

A varied and balanced diet is usually enough to maintain a good level of zinc; supplementation is only recommended in cases of deficiency.
