1 opinions

Description

The Anuform® anal probe allows for comfortable muscle stimulation and precise biofeedback thanks to its contoured shape that provides an electrode/tissue interface. It is especially indicated for those who suffer from faecal or gaseous leaks, have pain from prolapse or simply want to strengthen their pelvic floor muscles.

Characteristics

  • For ambulatory use.
  • For use in a single patient.
  • For use in a single hole.
  • Design how and safely to use it rectally.
  • Can be used with most muscle stimulators and biofeedback equipment (consult manufacturer's instructions before use)
  • It offers a fast and effective toning of the pelvic floor muscles through biofeedback.
  • It can be used as a vaginal probe if a small measurement is required.
  • Its revolutionary shape allows movement during treatment and ensures that it does not move during treatment, in a comfortable and effective way compared to other more uncomfortable catheters.
  • Valid for all stimulators using 2mm connection.

Instructions for use

When the Anuform is inserted, the anal sphincter closes around the narrowest part of the tube. This ensures correct positioning without the need to hold the probe in place.

Anuform® is always in the same position, allowing you to compare the readings obtained in different sessions;

Pharmaceutical Advice

It should not be used in pregnancies, pacemakers, cancerous diseases in the area, or if we find infection, tissue damage, or a recent scar.

If used rectally, some lubricant should be used.

Please consult an expert for use in cases of insensitivity or epilepsy patients.
