Our hair is often attacked by modern life and the stress that accompanies it. Dandruff in general is due to scalp flaking and, although it is a normal physiological process, it can lead to scalp redness, itching and irritation.

Nutradeica® anti-dandruff shampoo is an ally that respects the scalp and promotes the elimination of the discomfort caused by the excessive renewal of the scalp cells;

Nutradeica® anti-dandruff shampoo brings softness to the hair and helps to:

  • -Avoid the growth of microorganisms thanks to Piroctone Olamine.
  • -Relieve and soothe itching with the Laureth-9.
  • -It offers keratolytic, antiproliferative and anti-pruritic properties due to its formulation with Ichthyol Pale.

It is especially indicated for mild seborrheic states or dry dandruff.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.

Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.

To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.
