Lorenzo's Oil which is composed of four parts glycerol trioleate oil (GTO) and one part glycerol trierucitrate oil. It is specially designed for use as a special medical food to help with the treatment of diseases such as adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) and adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN), both of which are a severe and progressive genetic disorder affecting the white matter (myelin) of the nervous system that can lead to death, to provide energy in the form of lipids and fatty acids in the form of oleic and erucic acid.
