Nutricia Nutrison Energy is a ready-to-use, hypercaloric, and nutritionally complete polymeric liquid diet based on milk proteins. It is a dietary food intended for special medical purposes, enriched with a blend of carotenoids and gluten-free.
This product is indicated for the enteral nutrition of patients with high energy requirements or the need to limit fluid intake, including overnight nutritional support.
The Nutricia Nutrison Energy diet is recommended for adults who need a higher caloric intake (1500-2000 ml per day), according to medical prescription. However, it has some contraindications:
- It is contraindicated in children under one year old.
- Contraindicated in patients with galactosemia.
