Hinged elbow orthosis

Description

This active elbow brace aids in the flexion and extension of the elbow. It is designed by Orliman to adapt to the arm and forearm, featuring an adjustable joint and made from thermoplastic material. In addition to the elbow joint system, it has a guide for dimensional adjustment, with straps that contribute to regulation. Its closure system with micro hook can be trimmed depending on the desired length. Furthermore, it is attached to a series of polyethylene tabs with a thickness of 1 mm, which work in conjunction with a release strap. This serves to immobilise the elbow joint. At the same time, it helps to increase fracture stability to achieve symmetrical compactness in the soft tissues located at the fracture site.

Instructions for use

Use as an adjunct to the treatment of fractures in the elbow joint area.
