The Orliman T1 stack splint is an orthopedic prosthesis indicated in cases of extensor muscle tears of the fingers. It is made of pink polypropylene. The lower part of the splint collects from the distal area to beyond the joint between phalanges. It is shaped like a thimble so that the fingertip can be inserted without the need to use force. The upper part leaves the nail area free for greater comfort.
Its purpose is to immobilize the phalangeal joint. It keeps it in a straight position and allows free movement of the joint between the different phalanges. This prosthesis is designed to prevent the injury from spreading to other joints and cause more serious injuries. It provides maximum comfort and allows normal day-to-day activities without discomfort.
