Abdominal belt designed for individuals with good anterolateral control during sitting. Sitting is the position where a patient maintains verticality by supporting their pelvis on the base of support.
It is made with a breathable semi-rigid three-layer material of polyester, foam, and polyamide. Additionally, it features:
- Adjustment and securing straps with buckles that are color-coded to improve placement.
- Perineal strap that supports the person from the wheelchair and other resting places, such as chairs or armchairs.
It can be used to allow for adequate freedom of movement in the cervical and dorsal areas. This abdominal belt from Orliman is indicated for patients with good control in sitting but who slide from the seat.
