Ortolacer Protective Orthodontic Wax Brush 7 Bars is oneorthodontic wax that helps to relieve and prevent chafing. Thanks to its formulation, it prevents oral and dental alterations inherent to orthodontic treatment.

In addition, it is enriched with triclosan and zinc chloride, components that help to inhibit bacterial activity over time, helping to reduce the risk of bacterial infections.

This product is indicated to treat rubbing caused by orthodontic appliances.

Instructions for use

Cut a piece of wax from one of the bars slightly larger than the size of the bracket. Round off the piece with your fingers and place it on the bracket that causes chafing.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Two types of Zinc can be found in mouthwashes and toothpastes: zinc citrate and zinc chloride.

Zinc citrate helps to reduce plaque build-up and its effects and therefore helps to prevent cavities and periodontal disease. Zinc Chloride has an anti-tartar effect and helps to reduce bleeding.

To maintain optimal oral hygiene, remember to brush your teeth 30 minutes after every meal and avoid drinking water or eating after your oral hygiene routine. Also, remember to visit your dentist a couple of times a year to check the state of your dentin and to have your teeth professionally cleaned.
