Witch hazel is involved in reducing the feeling of heavy legs but also in normal blood circulation, especially in the microvessels. It has a tonic action on the venous system. It acts on the resistance of the vessels by increasing the resistance of the capillary walls. Witch hazel is commonly used to combat circulation problems.
