Description

Pranarôm Aromapic BIO Citronella + Body Roll-On 75ml is a repellent solution that protects the skin against bites.

Its formula includes essential oils of citronella, geranium, lavender and aromatic eucalyptus, which act as a natural mosquito repellent . In addition, these oils are BIO certified to ensure high quality, and its practical roll-on bottle makes it convenient and quick to apply.

Suitable for the whole family from 30 months onwards, and from the fourth month in the case of pregnant women.

Instructions for use

  • Children from 30 months to 6 years: apply on arms and legs, 1 or 2 times a day. Never apply on the hand, to prevent them from putting the product in their mouth.

  • Adults and children from 7 years: apply on exposed skin, and spread until complete penetration.

  • Reapply Pranarom anti-mosquito roll-on after bathing and every 7 hours.

  • Wash hands thoroughly after application.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Several plants in the Cymbopogon genus are known as citronella.  Citronella essential oil, with an intense citrus-like scent, is extracted from these plants.   This grass is particularly well known for its aromatic properties and its power as a natural insect repellent, although it should be noted that it is not a registered biocide. This means that, in situations where we need to protect ourselves from disease-transmitting insects, a citronella product should be used with a repellent with biocidal substances indicated for this purpose. In dietary supplement form, the botanical species it contains must be clearly identified. Oral use is only reserved for certain botanical species and must be prescribed by a health professional.  Java citronella (Cymbopogon winterianus) and Madagascar citronella (Cymbopogon giganteus) have antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and deodorant properties. They can also be used in air diffusion to repel mosquitoes. In the case of Java citronella, it can be used diluted with a vegetable oil to massage sore joints. It can also be used on the skin and diluted in the context of certain infections or excessive sweating. If in doubt, always consult a professional.

When there are mosquitoes, I am the typical person who gets bitten by them all. With this product, which I have been using for a couple of years, I can't say that I don't get bitten, but I get bitten a lot less. Also, although some people find the smell very strong, I love it
