Description

A vegetable product obtained from borage by grinding and cold pressing the seeds to preserve the effectiveness of its components. This natural oil is rich in essential fatty acids such as omega 6, omega 3 and gamma linoleic acid, essential for maintaining healthy and youthful skin. It is also rich in vitamins A, D, E and K which helps restore suppleness and elasticity to sensitive or damaged skin. It has been used more and more frequently with the discovery of its polyphenols and the properties they have as antioxidants, rejuvenators and sunscreens. Its moisturizing ability helps people who have extreme dryness or suffer from irritations. PROPOS NATURE oil is also used to accelerate hair growth and as a base for masks, clays or scrubs.

Instructions for use

Use as a base for massages or as an emulsion for creams. It is also an excellent make-up remover.

Composition

Natural borage oil (Borago officinalis) containing: linoleic acid, linolenic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, eicosenoic acid, erucic acid and nervonic acid.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Omega-3 fatty acids are a type of polyunsaturated fat that helps regulate triglyceride and cholesterol blood levels. However, these fats, which help to maintain cardiovascular health, are not produced by the body. This is why it is important to include foods rich in Omega 3 in your diet, such as fish and shellfish, seeds or algae. Without ever exceeding the recommended dose, you can also opt for dietary supplements that provide these beneficial fatty acids.

The most common fatty acids are EPA and DHA (from marine sources) and ALA (from plant sources), which help regulate blood pressure. They also help to reduce the risk of developing irregular heartbeats or arrhythmias. Omega-3's main benefits are therefore related to cardiovascular health and, as they are part of the cell membranes, they also help to maintain the nervous system function in good condition.
