Nasal lavage system with saline-based nasal lavage salts
Description
Instructions for use
Place the contents of a sachet of inside the bottle. Add clean, lukewarm water (35ºC) up to approximately the 250 ml mark and shake until the salts are dissolved. Then add more water until the bottle is full (500 ml). Insert the nasal adapter tube into the bottle and screw the cap on tightly to ensure an airtight seal. Leaning over the sink, with the head forward, insert the nasal cone (blue) into an orifice exerting gentle pressure to plug it. Breathe through the mouth. Gently squeeze the bottle in the center, placing your thumb in the circle at the back. The liquid will be pumped into the nose and will start to come out through the other orifice dragging mucus, pus, crusts, etc. Irrigate for 10-20 seconds. Keep pressure on the bottle as long as the blue cone remains inserted in the nostril. Change hands and perform irrigation through the other nostril. Repeat the above steps alternating one and the other orifice until the solution is exhausted. The frequency and duration of irrigations is variable according to needs. You can irrigate 1 or 2 times a day continuously.
