Cream for sensitive and weakened skin due to incontinence. In addition, it helps to fight against bedsores due to maceration. In fact, urinary incontinence leads to permanent wetness and maceration of skin tissues. This process weakens the skin and causes irritation. This protective cream is indicated for adults with sensitive and weakened skin in this respect. The product is presented in tube form for easy application and its texture is soft and light so as not to cause friction on the skin. It has been formulated to minimise the risk of allergic reactions, it is a class I medical device.
On clean, dry skin, apply the protective barrier cream in a thin layer. It should be applied as soon as necessary and after each episode of incontinence and periodic change of protection. Keep out of the reach of children, store away from sources of light and heat and keep in a cool, dry place.
Aqua (water), paraffinum liquidum (mineral oil), zinc oxide, lanolin, glycerin, microcrystalline wax (microcrystalline wax), glyceryl stearate, peg-100 stearate, c14-22 alcohols, kerosene, cetyl alcohol, c12-20 alkyl glucoside, ethylhexylglycerin, citric acid, xanthan gum, lonicera caprifolium (honeysuckle) flower extract, lonicera japonica (honeysuckle) flower extract, aloe barbadensis leaf juice powder, tocopherol.
Glycerin, also known as glycerol, is a viscous, colourless, odourless liquid that is an intermediate product of alcoholic fermentation and is a member of triglycerides. It is highly valued for its moisturising and emollient properties and is therefore widely used in cosmetics.
One of the best-known products with glycerine as a base component is soap. These soaps have a low pH and work as emollient agents on the skin, helping it to maintain and recover its natural moisture level. This is why they are perfect for sensitive or dry skin hygiene.
Glycerin is also present in moisturising creams with an anti-ageing effect, thanks to its ability to soften the skin and increase its elasticity. It has great soothing action, so it effectively reduces irritations, acne marks or small burns, helping accelerate healing. It is also present in shaving lotions, as it reduces friction, as well as in hair care cosmetics such as serums and masks.
