Rosemary alcohol 500ml is a first aid alcohol with disinfectant properties. Its composition is similar to that of ethyl alcohol, but thanks to the addition of rosemary it has soothing properties, it refreshes and relaxes the skin, it helps to combat seborrheic dermatitis and it is suitable for use in massages and multiple uses that go beyond its antiseptic action. For example, it helps treat the discomfort caused by varicose veins, tired legs, sprains and other joint and lower back pain.
Topical use.
Apply on the area of skin to be treated and make a slight friction.
DENAT ALCOHOL. ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS.
Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.
Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.
Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.
To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.
