This is because water allows the fibers to shrink and thus regain their initial effective pressure. We recommend that you machine wash your compression socks (first few washes separately) with a detergent for delicate fabrics and without fabric softener, at a temperature between 30 °C and 40 °C. Then dry them away from direct sunlight and any heat source. You can wring out the compression socks without wringing them out. Do not use detergents. Do not iron.
