Description

As a reference in medical compression, the Sigvaris Diaphane compression sock combines therapeutic effectiveness, comfort, aesthetics, and durability. It is aimed at the refined woman who seeks to care for herself while remaining beautiful and elegant, and who loves timeless products, little affected by rapid changes in trends. FEATURES It offers optimal comfort and a wide choice of models and colours to be worn throughout the year. The Sigvaris Diaphane compression sock is the reference compression sock, made from transparent microfibre that is soft, comfortable, and very elegant. It is a quality product that will satisfy you. INDICATION Sigvaris class 1 (light compression): moderate pain, varicosities. Contraindications The absolute contraindications for wearing a compression sock are: • obliterative arterial disease of the lower limbs (PAD) with a systolic pressure index (SPI) < 0.6; • advanced diabetic microangiopathy (for compression > 30 mmHg); • phlegmasia cerulea dolens (painful blue phlebitis with arterial compression); • septic thrombosis. A regular re-evaluation of the benefit/risk ratio is necessary in cases of: • PAD with SPI between 0.6 and 0.9; • advanced peripheral neuropathy; • weeping dermatosis or eczematous skin; • intolerance to the fibres used (allergy to one of the components). Precautions for use Do not apply the compression sock directly on damaged skin. In case of doubt, contact your doctor. Care instructions To maintain the effectiveness of the compression socks, it is recommended to wash them daily. Indeed, water allows the fibres to contract and thus regain their initial effective pressure. It is advisable to machine wash the compression socks (separately during the first washes) with a delicate fabric detergent and without fabric softener, between 30 °C and 40 °C. Then dry them away from sunlight and any heat source. You can spin your compression socks without twisting them! Do not use any detergent product. Do not iron.
