It is aimed at the refined woman who seeks to care for herself while remaining beautiful and elegant, and who appreciates timeless products that are less affected by rapid changes in trends. CHARACTERISTICS It offers optimal comfort and a wide choice of models and colours to be worn throughout the year. The Sigvaris Diaphane compression sock is the reference compression sock; the microfibre is transparent, soft, comfortable, and very elegant. It is a quality product that will satisfy you. INDICATION Wearing class 2 compression socks is recommended for moderate venous insufficiency: • Established varicose veins (with or without functional disorders) • Reversible oedema • Prevention of thrombosis • Post-surgical period in phlebology. Contraindications The absolute contraindications for wearing a compression sock are: • Obliterating arterial disease of the lower limbs (PAD) with a systolic pressure index (SPI) < 0.6; • Advanced diabetic microangiopathy (for compression > 30 mmHg); • Phlegmasia cerulea dolens (painful blue phlebitis with arterial compression); • Septic thrombosis A regular re-evaluation of the benefit/risk ratio is necessary in cases of: • PAD with SPI between 0.6 and 0.9; • Advanced peripheral neuropathy; • Weeping dermatosis or eczematous skin; • Intolerance to the fibres used (allergy to one of the components). Precautions for use Do not apply the compression sock directly onto broken skin. In case of doubt, contact your doctor. Care instructions To maintain the effectiveness of the compression socks, it is recommended to wash them daily. Indeed, water allows the fibres to retract and thus regain their effective initial pressure. It is advisable to machine wash the compression socks (separately during the first washes) with a delicate fabric detergent and without fabric softener, at temperatures between 30 °C and 40 °C. Then dry them away from sunlight and any heat source. You have the option to spin your compression socks without twisting them! Do not use detergent products. Do not iron.
