Class 2 compression stockings are recommended for moderate venous insufficiency: - Varicose veins (with or without functional problems) - Reversible edemas - Prevention of thrombosis - Postoperative in phlebology. Contraindications Absolute contraindications for the use of a compression sock are: - arteriopathy obliterans of the lower limbs (AOMI) with systolic pressure index (SPI) < 0,6 ; • la microangiopathie diabétique évoluée (pour une compression > 30 mmHg); - phlematia coeruolea dolens (painful blue phlebitis with arterial compression); - septic thrombosis Periodic reassessment of the benefit/risk ratio is required in cases of: - OHAMI with SPI between 0.6 and 0.9; - advanced peripheral neuropathy; - exudative or eczematous dermatosis; - intolerance to the fibers used (allergy to one of the components) Precautions for use Do not apply the compression sock directly on damaged skin. In case of doubt, consult your doctor. Care instructions To maintain the effectiveness of the compression socks, it is recommended to wash them daily. This is because water allows the fibers to shrink and thus regain their initial effective pressure. We recommend that you machine wash your compression socks (first few washes separately) with a detergent for delicate fabrics and without fabric softener, at a temperature of between 30°C and 40°C. Then dry them away from direct sunlight. Then dry them away from direct sunlight and any heat source. You can wring out the compression socks without wringing them out. Do not use detergents. Do not iron.
