Description

Sinomarin Sol Nasal is a sterile hypertonic seawater-based product that serves to relieve nasal congestion and remove excess mucus from the nasal passages. Sinomarin® Baby is suitable from 0 months of age.

This solution allows:

  • Nasal hygiene. The daily hygiene of the nasal passages in babies, children and adults.
  • It helps to eliminate scabs and makes mucus more fluid, allowing you to breathe better despite suffering from colds, hoarseness or nasal congestion.
  • It effectively decongests the nasal passages in cases of allergic, catarrhal, infectious and vasomotor rhinitis.
  • Reduces congestion, irritation and discharge in case of rhinosinusitis.
  • It complements treatments with anti-inflammatory and local antibiotics by aiding mucociliary transport and allowing deep penetration.
  • Nourishes and moisturizes with minerals and trace elements, allowing a toned and healthy nasal mucosa.

Instructions for use

  • Put several drops in each nostril 2 or 3 times a day.

Composition

Hypertonic seawater solution. Contains: SODIUM CHLORIDE (23,00G/L); SULPHATES (2,30G/L); MAGNESIUM (1,04G/L); CALCIUM (0,31G/L); POTASSIUM (0,42G/L); ZINC (TRACKS); COPPER (TRACKS).

Pharmaceutical Advice

Seawater has moisturising and cleansing effects on the nasal and otic mucous membranes. It is rich in elements and trace elements in the form of different salts that contain: chlorine, sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, fluorine, iron, manganese, iodine, etc. Nasal cleansing with seawater helps to maintain cilia function (microscopic hair-like structures in the nose) and helps to moisten the air. It carries away impurities and particles, such as allergens, bacteria, viruses and particles from environmental pollution.

It can be isotonic (i.e. with the same salt concentration as saline) or hypertonic (with a higher salt concentration). In both cases, it decongests, loosens mucus and helps to expel it (hypertonic water has a more intense effect in this sense). The use of a nasal cleansing spray with seawater is a very useful measure in the case of nasal obstruction due to colds, the flu or nasal dryness caused by external factors, as it improves nasal and respiratory well-being. In otic application, it also helps to clean the ear canal.
