Plantago is originally from Asia, it is the ground husk of the seed of Plantago Ovata. It is a soluble fiber with a high absorption capacity. It is used in Ayurvedic medicine for many years, thanks to its properties as an intestinal regulator, both for constipation and diarrhea.
Take in the morning on an empty stomach, dissolved in half a glass of water, juice, vegetable drink, coffee, etc. and then drink a full glass of water.
Psyllium* Powder 100% (Psyllium Hust, Soluble Fiber Derived From The Seeds Of Plantago Ovata) 86% Fiber. (*) From Organic Farming.
To prevent constipation, it is important to maintain a good water intake and eat a balanced diet, rich in vegetables and fruit, as well as whole grains to promote bowel regularity. These foods provide both soluble and insoluble fibre, both of which are necessary for the digestive system.
Exercising regularly is also advisable. Fibre-rich food supplements or plant extracts can also provide additional support. On the other hand, laxative medications (oral or enemas/suppositories) can alleviate occasional constipation and provide fast relief. These medications are not suitable in certain situations. Consulting a healthcare professional is recommended.
If it is a recurrent problem, consult a healthcare professional for a correct diagnosis and follow-up treatment appropriate to your needs.
