Instructions for use

- Decoction (root, stems): Pour the plant into boiling water, boil for 2-5 minutes, let stand for 5-10 minutes and filter, at the rate of 1 teaspoon per cup.

Composition

Crataegus oxyacantha l.

Its most interesting active ingredients are: Polyphenolic substances, among them leukoantocyanidins and flavonoids (the main one is the hyperoside, it also possesses rutoside, rhamnoside and c-heterosides: VITEXOL, SAPONARETOL, ORIENTOL AND ISO-ORIENTOL). Triterpene derivatives, the main ones being crataegolic, ursolic and oleanolic acids. Also contains sterols, amine derivatives (ethylamine, trimethylamine, isobutyl), choline, purines, essential oil (whose main constituent is anisic aldehyde, which gives it its pleasant smell).
