Description

Brewer's yeast is a product resulting from the fermentation of beer by the bacterium Saccharomyces cerevisae. Among its beneficial properties is its high nutritional and biological value, as it provides vitamins, minerals and amino acids essential for the human body.

Sotya Brewer's yeast is a food supplement that will provide you with all the benefits of this natural ingredient in a concentrated way. Among these are:

  • High biological value proteins and essential amino acids, which will protect the liver against possible poisoning.
  • Slowly absorbed carbohydrates, which will provide you with continuous energy without increasing your glycemic index.
  • Important minerals such as potassium or phosphorus, and to a lesser extent selenium, calcium, manganese and magnesium.
  • B vitamins, essential for the enzymatic reactions of proteins, carbohydrates and lipids.

*Each tablet contains 325mg of brewer's yeast and 175mg of wheat germ

The advantage of taking brewer's yeast in tablets is that it loses its characteristic bitter taste.

Enjoy it in your diet!

Pharmaceutical Advice

Brewer's yeast is one of the best-known nutritional supplements. It is obtained from cereal fermentation, such as barley. It tends to have a bitter aftertaste, so it is processed into de-bitterised yeast. It is available as a powder or in flakes, that can be added directly to food, or in tablet or capsule form.

It is very high in fibre and proteins of high biological value, especially rich in the amino acid lysine, and it contains glutathione, a tripeptide with antioxidant properties. It also contains B vitamins and several minerals, such as selenium, calcium, zinc and iron.

As a source of vitamins, minerals and amino acids, supplementation with brewer's yeast supports hair, skin and nail care. Minerals such as zinc and selenium support proper immune system function and fibre supports bowel movement.

It is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or nutrition expert if you have any questions about this nutritional supplement, such as how much to take or for how long.
