The adhesive skin suture is a must in the first aid kit because of its usefulness in treating superficial cuts, especially if there are small and restless children in the home.

The adhesive Steri-Strip skin suture is placed transversely over the wounds to join the edges and thus facilitate healing. This dressing has better aesthetic results than traditional surgical sutures, making it a better option when small wounds are present on the face.

It's made of porous rayon to allow the wound to breathe, stay dry and allow drainage. It also has an adhesive that will not contaminate the wound with any residue. It is a hypoallergenic material, suitable even for those who are allergic to latex.

Place transversely in the center of the wound and gently press until the suture is fixed. Then place the necessary sutures on each side until the edges of the wound are joined, leaving 2 to 3 millimetres between each suture.

They must be carefully removed to prevent the suture from sticking to itself. It is recommended to do it in an angle of 45 degrees.
