Description

Shampoo that helps to treat and control the symptoms of dandruff, itching and seborrhea. Eliminates and prevents excess oiliness, respecting the natural characteristics of the hair. It tones the scalp and strengthens the hair, preventing hair loss. It is suitable for both men and women.

Instructions for use

Apply to damp hair, massaging in circular motions with the fingertips all over the scalp. For a more effective result, leave on for a few minutes and rinse with plenty of water.

Composition

AQUA (WATER), SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, COCAMIDE DEA, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, SODIUM CHLORIDE, PIROCTONE OLAMINE, YEAST EXTRACT, UNDECYLENAMIDE DEA, LACTIC ACID, PARFUM, SODIUM BENZOATE, POTASSIUM SORBATE, ALCOHOL DENAT, LINALOOL.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.

Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.

To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.
