L-Carnitine transports fatty acids to cells, where they are converted into energy. It helps burn fat more quickly during physical exercise, while delaying the onset of fatigue.

Carnitine is a molecule naturally present in our bodies. Its active form is L-carnitine and it is primarily responsible for supporting the metabolism to generate energy.

If you have heard about L-carnitine before, it is probably because it is said to have a "fat burning" effect, but how does it work? L-carnitine is involved in the metabolism of fat: it transports fatty acids into the mitochondria for oxidation and energy production.
