White thyme is recognised and used for its antiseptic, antibacterial, energising and expectorant properties. The oil is obtained by steam distillation of the whole thyme plant. Not recommended for use during the first 3 months of pregnancy or in children under 6 years of age.
Use topically mixed with cosmetics to increase its properties.
