Organic virgin rosehip oil is obtained through the process of cold pressing of the seeds. Its use is recommended for all skin types, especially skin with a predisposition to blemishes or acne. Its high level of omegas 6 and 3, in addition to its content in regenerating substances and liposoluble antioxidants such as vitamins A, C and E, help to prevent and treat the signs of aging.
It also contributes to the stimulation of cell renewal, being beneficial in formulations for scars and other skin marks. Rosehip oil is a good moisturiser that promotes microcirculation.
For external use only.
- Place a few drops in the palm of the hand and whenever possible apply by gently massaging with the fingertips until completely absorbed.
- Do not apply on open wounds.
- You can also add a few drops to your usual moisturiser.
Rose Hip, Rosa Canina, Rosa Rubiginosa (Rose).
Rosehips are the fruit of a wild bush, part of the rose family, with many properties. For example, its seed oil is used in cosmetic products. Its healing capacity is well known, especially to treat scars, post-op wounds and burns. It is highly regenerative and activates the fibroblasts that lead to collagen and elastin synthesis. Its astringent nature binds the broken edges of the epidermis to facilitate natural healing. It is antioxidant, nourishing and moisturising and protects against premature aging and helps to reduce wrinkles.
Regarding its dietary uses, it has anti-inflammatory and digestive properties. Together with its cell regenerating properties, it is particularly useful to treat gastritis and gastroduodenal ulcers. It also has a diuretic effect, so it can be a great aid to combat fluid retention and cellulite.
It's still early to see results, but I like it because it's nice and not sticky at all.
