Promotes wound healing in moist environment

Description

Semi-permeable sterile hydrocolloid dressings adapted to certain anatomical locations of pressure ulcers and greater peripheral adhesiveness.
Algoplaque Border is indicated to promote wound healing in a moist environment. Hydrocolloids have a high capacity to absorb exudates. They form, in contact with the wound, a moist gel that protects the reformed tissues and promotes healing. They are permeable to air, impermeable to water and bacteria, so they withstand washing and showers.

Instructions for use

- Remove the silicone paper sheet that protects the adhesive layer.
- Apply to the surface to be treated, previously cleaned with saline solution and dried.
- Allow the dressing to protrude at least 3 cm from the edges of the wound.
- It can remain in place from 1 to 8 days, depending on the stage of the wound.

Composition

Inner layer (Semi-synthetic Hydrocolloids), Outer layer (Semi-permeable Polyurethane Foam), Adhesive edge (Polyisobutylene).
