This active ingredient is a compound of free amino acids that come from corn, soy and wheat. It increases the amount of free amino acids in the hair, providing moisture and flexibility. Keratin is a protein naturally found in the body. It is one of the main components in hair, nails and the skin’s top layer, the epidermis. It is a component that is generally associated with hair health.

Keratin provides structure to the hair from root to tip (it makes up 80% of the hair fibre). The hair cuticle made up of keratin-containing cells is responsible for protecting the inside of the hair and maintaining its colour and shine.
