The blood sample is placed in a reaction cell where the glucose oxidase is found. Glucose oxidase is an enzyme that reacts with the blood. After 10 seconds, the result is displayed in the 20-600 mg/dl detection range.
1. Place the strips in the slot of the meter.
2. Put the blood sample on the tip of the test strip.
3. View the results on the device display.
