Description

Yogi Tea Christmas Tea is a Christmas herbal tea with Ayurvedic plants and spices. Spicy flavours with warming powers to brighten up the Advent season. Honeybush, cinnamon, star anise. INFORMATION Rooibos: also known as red bush, belongs to the legume family and continues to grow exclusively in the Cederberg Mountains of South Africa. The leaves of these bushes, which can reach a height of almost two meters, are harvested once a year. The leaves are used to prepare rooibos infusion, the national drink of South Africa, with its pleasant fruity and slightly sweet notes. Cinnamon: once one of the most expensive spices in the world, cinnamon is believed to have been used as early as 3000 BC in China. Cinnamon, obtained from the bark of the cinnamon tree in South Asia, has a sweet and aromatic flavour and contains precious essential oils. Honeybush: recognizable from afar by its yellow, sparkling and delightfully fragrant flowers, Honeybush has calming properties. It only grows in two provinces of South Africa, where it is harvested on mountain slopes, peaks or rocky formations. Honeybush has a pleasantly sweet taste and is caffeine-free, but rich in valuable antioxidants, magnesium, iron and zinc. Coriander: with its rich aroma reminiscent of an intense blend of cinnamon, nutmeg and orange with spicy and tangy notes, coriander is used in almost all Middle Eastern and Asian dishes. Orange peel: the orange is the most cultivated citrus fruit in the world. Native to Asia, it was introduced to Europe in the 15th century. Its peel contains many essential oils and has the same flavour as its pulp, but is less sweet and slightly bitter. Star anise: just by looking at the star-shaped fruits of star anise, you can guess the origin of its name. The fruits of this evergreen tree have a sweet and slightly spicy flavour reminiscent of licorice.
