This is the second time I have bought it and I will never be without it again. I was getting one or two herpes a month and since I've been using it (for 6 months) I haven't had any. It must be applied daily, at least 3 times. It prevents the appearance of herpes and moisturizes the lips. It is a marvelous essential for those of us who are prone to those annoying cold sores.
