This tandoori masala is a very popular spice blend in Middle Eastern cuisine. This masala (also known as "masala") is one of the most commonly used in Indian cooking because of its delicious aroma and characteristic flavor. Common seasonings include varying proportions of coriander, salt, cumin, fenugreek, chillies, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, mustard, garlic, onion, bay leaves, cloves, cardamom and nutmeg.
Because of the strong presence of this Indo-Pakistani blend in its native cuisine, various Indian dishes made with it are called "tandoor style" or "tandoori" (meaning clay oven). This Artemis seasoning is ideal for seasoning meat (such as chicken or beef) and vegetables on a spit in a clay oven. It is 100% organically grown.
Sprinkle to taste on food. Store in a cool, dry place.
Coriander* (Coriandrum sativum), Cayenne* (Capsicum frutescens), Cumin* (C uminum cyminum), Ginger* (Zingiber officinale), Turmeric* (Curcuma longa), Garlic* (Allium sativum), Salt. *From organic farming.
Ginger is a plant widely used in traditional medicine because of its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
As an ingredient in dietary supplements, it is anti-inflammatory and stimulates digestion. It can reduce gas formation in the intestine and has antiemetic properties (in cases of nausea and motion sickness during travel). It may also be of interest to mitigate menstrual cramps.
It is important to take dietary supplements in the dosage recommended by the manufacturer and in the context of a balanced diet. People with digestive and/or other chronic diseases should consult a healthcare professional.
