Description

Up to 60 percent of patients who have had a kidney stone will have at least a second episode in the next 10 years. In addition, 15 percent to 20 percent of kidney stones recur within a few months of the first episode.

Broken capsules are a natural phytate-based treatment that helps prevent the recurrence of kidney stones in patients who have had a first episode.

Each capsule contains 380 milligrams of phytate, an element that after being metabolized becomes phytine or phytate phosphorus. This substance effectively prevents stone formation in the urinary tract.

It is very easy to administer, it is only necessary to take one capsule a day as opposed to the 3-6 doses that the treatment with potassium citrate implies.
