Description

Humer Acute Sore Throat Pharyngitis Tablets is formulated for the treatment and prevention of cold symptoms (acute sore throat, pharyngitis, throat inflammation), dry mouth and throat, and hoarseness due to vocal cord fatigue. Based on natural ingredients and ectoine, a natural cell-protecting molecule, this supplement forms a protective shield over the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat. It relieves inflammation and sore throat, eases swallowing, and reduces the risk of viral or bacterial infection. Sugar-free. Flavour: Red fruits.

Composition

Ingredients: maltitol, gum arabic, water, sorbitol, ectoin, citric acid, wild berry flavouring, vegetable oil and beeswax, grape skin extract, acesulfame K, menthol.
Do not use Humer Pharyngitis in children under 6 years of age. Humer Pharyngitis should not be used in case of persistent lesions of the mouth. Humer Pharyngitis should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to ectoin or to any other component of the tablets. Stop taking the tablets in case of allergic reaction. Pregnant or breast-feeding women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medical product. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Read the instructions for use carefully. Store in a dry place at a temperature between 2ºC and 25ºC. Do not use Humer Pharyngitis after the expiry date (stated on the blister and carton).

Pharmaceutical Advice

Menthol is a compound extracted from plants such as peppermint (Mentha x Piperita) and can also be manufactured synthetically. As an ingredient in gels and creams for topical application, or orally, either in lozenges, herbal teas or gummies, it provides a very refreshing and soothing action.

In tablet or gummy form, it is used to soothe the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, and to soothe mild discomfort in the oral cavity, as it has a mild analgesic effect. It relieves itching and is a decongestant. It is also used in nasal sprays or inhalers formulated with plant extracts, to promote respiratory well-being. It is also found in food and oral hygiene products.

In case of allergy to the substance, chronic respiratory diseases, as well as during pregnancy and young children, do not use products with menthol and consult a healthcare professional.
