Description

- Powdered milk for babies up to 36 months of age who are allergic to cow's milk proteins and/or lactose intolerant. Formulated with carob starch and pectin. Starch is a carbohydrate that thickens naturally in the stomach and limits gastro-oesophageal reflux and is suitable for babies with regurgitation problems. Novalac Rice AR can be used as the sole source of food up to 6 months of age when not breastfeeding.
- Formulated with proteins derived from rice protein hydrolysate, making it a vegetable alternative to conventional milks.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Breast milk is the best food for babies. If providing it is not possible or if it is insufficient, the paediatrician is the best healthcare professional to advise on the most suitable type of milk for infants.
